The Farroteca was open in 2003 and it is the first restaurant and point of sale fully dedicated to Farro.
The atmosphere is characteristic and reminds of good old times. The recipes are prepared with a selected variety of Triticum Dicoccum , the true ancient cereal that was served on the Pharahos’ table.
In this oasis of genuine food you can try so many specialities made with Farro and Farro flour: pies, polenta, farro purée with lentils, soups, farro pasta dressed with fish or vegetable sauces, accompanied by traditional cheese , salami ,and poultry produced locally and pastry paired with excellent regional wines.
All dishes are genuine, freshly made by the expert cook.
The Farroteca is a pleasant milieu where people attentive of quality and genuine kitchen can enjoy and discover old traditional tastes.
The restaurant can serve 35 customers at a time and in summer meals can be served in the garden with a wonderful view on the valley.
The Farroteca is open every day, reservation is recommended one day in advance. Monday closed.
